Clayton Taylor, Chief Executive Officer
Clayton Taylor is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ComRent. After starting the company in 1997 with just one employee, Clay has led ComRent through continuous year-over-year growth that now includes 18 operating locations with more than 100 employees in the U.S., Canada and abroad. ComRent has been on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies for the past four years. Clay is a member of EGSA, NETA, 7X24 Exchange and IEEE. An avid sailor, Clay has restored several classic Chesapeake 20 sailboats and is an active member of the West River Sailing Club.
Robert Swedberg, Chief Financial Officer
Robert Swedberg is the Chief Financial Officer of ComRent, responsible for directing all financial and accounting activities, including the timely completion of two annual audits with the company’s outside CPA firm. Prior to joining ComRent, Robert held various positions in both the private and public sectors. His expertise includes technical accounting, SEC reporting, budgeting and forecasting. He served as Corporate Controller of Sucampo Pharmaceuticals and led them through a successful IPO in 2007. Robert holds an active C.P.A. license in Maryland.
Bruce Ogden, Vice President National Sales & Marketing
Bruce Ogden is Vice President of National Sales & Marketing at ComRent. In this role, Bruce is responsible for developing relationships with strategic partners who have ongoing requirements for commissioning and testing mission critical, electrical power generating systems throughout North America. Bruce is also responsible for directing ComRent’s marketing activities and initiatives. For more than 25 years, Bruce has held executive level sales, marketing and business development positions with several domestic and international telecommunications and high tech companies. An avid sailor, Bruce resides in West River, MD.
Paul Clewell, Vice President Global Development
Paul Clewell is Vice President of Global Development for ComRent, responsible for identifying, developing and deploying ComRent’s strategy for international expansion. Under Paul’s direction, ComRent has developed new operating agreements with partners in the Middle East and Brazil. Before joining ComRent, Paul spent 15 years engaged in executive-level strategic sales and sales management, serving Fortune 100 as well as multi-national clients in the data center, IT, and wireless industries throughout the world. Paul resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and their 3 children.
Joseph E. Stonestreet, Vice President Operations
As Vice President of Operations, Joe coordinates and manages all operational and maintenance requirements of the ComRent load bank, transformer, switchgear, and cable rental fleet at 18 depots across North America. Joe has developed the equipment maintenance procedures and is responsible for ongoing equipment training programs for the entire technical staff. Prior to joining ComRent, Joe served in the U.S. Navy for 16 years and was Branch Manager and Shop Supervisor for United Rentals.
